The thin alkali free halogen free flame retardant tape is made of alkali free environmental friendly glass fiber yarn by high speed air jet loom which produce high tensile strength alkali free halogen free glass fiber cloth, this glass fiber cloth is soaked with halogen free flame retardant on surface and then dried, flame retardant performance of this tape is excellent, oxygen index up to nearly 100%. this tape is specially used for nuclear cables and required high flame retardant performance of small section flexible cables and fire resistant cables.

This tape is made of functional glass fiber cloth which is coated with flame retardant resin, and then dried. The tape has the advantages of thin thickness (0.15mm), light weight (170g/m2), oxygen index > 60%, cracking protection in transverse, it can prevent to fracture in transverse after wrapping when cable bending, cable surface flat without bamboo shape after sheath, it is an ideal product to replace the current market conventional glass fiber flame retardant tape (thickness 0.2-0.22mm).

Be used in fire-resistant and heat-resistant cables. When using the phlogopite tape binding, the fire-retardant temperature is as high as 850℃, and the cable can make the electric circuit work in order in 2 hours. When using the synthetic mica tape binding, the fire-retardant temperature is as high as 1000℃, and the cable can make the electric circuit work in order in 3 hours. The fire-resistant mica tape of our company has the features of acid and alkali resistant, corona resistant and anti-radiation.

But the weight of this product is very light which is the 1/3-1/5 of glass fiber rope and asbestos rope (when the diameter of rope is larger, the cost performance will be better, for example, the diameter is more than 10mm, the weight(g/m) of this product is 1/5 of glass fiber rope and asbestos rope).

Be made of 100% fire-resistant polyester fiber, it is compressing molded, after dipping, bonding, drying. It is thin, light, and fire-resistant with high longitudinal strength. It is mainly used in electrical cable for insulating, binding and wrapping.
